Our team of engineers tests the endurance of our reels by carrying out 500,000 handle turns to guarantee the reliability of our products. All rods are subjected to a compression strength test. The strength of the rod has been tested using rigs 50% heavier than the rated load. However, for optimal comfort, use assemblies adapted to the power of the cane.

Storage Tips
Before storing your rod, make sure it is not wet. To increase the life of your fishing poles remember to remove the lead sinkers before storing in the sleeve
Do not use near power lines or during thunderstorms.

Length 12 foot (3.60 m): carp rods between 11 and 13 FOOT long are more suited to carp fishing from the bank. Rods of this length tend to be more powerful for reaching long range swims. Dismantled rod: 1.87 m Weight: 343 gr. At equal power, the composition of the cane at 40% carbon makes it lighter than with 100% fibreglass. Fixed metal reel holder. Reels are secured on the rod by a screw locking ring.
The flexibility of semi-parabolic action rods such as the Extrem 5 makes for easier casting thanks to their flexibility. Good compromise between flexibility (playing the fish) and achievable casting distance. The semi-parabolic action lets the rod bend more in the middle. Press-fit: Inverted CAREFULL! Before casting, check that the joints are properly assembled. A badly inserted spigot is the main cause of rod breakage.
Seaguide rings 40 mm, 30 mm, 20 mm,16 mm, 12 mm, and 12 mm. The Seaguide rings are lightweight and highly resistant to braid. You can use braid on your reels with no fear of damaging your rings. This is a prime criterion of choice if you use braid regularly. The rings are attached via three legs. These 3-leg guides are stronger for greater resistance to heavy duty casting.
The test curve of your rod is a gauge of two different but complementary characteristics: - The ability to resist a tension force similar to wrestling with a fish. -The rod's ability to cast a weight over a certain distance. The 3 lbs test curve will enable you to cast up to 100 g between 90m and 100 m, and master medium sized fish with ease. This makes it perfect for beginner lake anglers.
- Reinforced polyamide baitrunner reel - Capacity 0.30/360m - 0.35/310m - 0.40/220m - Bearing 3 + 1 - 83 cm per crank turn - Aluminium spool

    Great value for money

Suprised how good that rod-reel combo is. Easy casting up to 100 m with 70-100 g weight. Reel works smooth and baitrunner is excellent. Lot of fun playing the fish with this combo.

As a beginner this is my first carp & rod combo, feels good in the hand even there is no Eva on the handle, just wish there was line on the spool
Very good for the price I've seen similar combos but twice as much.
    So good for the money

    Great cap rod

Great value for a superb rod and reel. Great bend in the rod making landing carp easier. I would have given 5 stars but the first one had a problem with the bait runner switch which would not reset when the handle was turned. Caperlan replaced it without any problem and switched the spool line over to the new rod.
