CHOOSING YOUR BAIT

Choosing your bait is primarily based on where you will be fishing. In a lake? In a pond? In a canal or river? These fishing areas require using the appropriate bait to fish in good conditions. Here is some advice to help you choose the proper bait.

WATER WITHOUT A CURRENT

If you are fishing in still waters, it is best to use bait that is not very sticky so that the aroma and particles will be easily dispersed around your shot.

If you are fishing in the current, a sticky texture gives your bait bearings more stability for lasting effectiveness.

You can be even more specific by choosing bait based on your fishing technique (such as feeder fishing or match fishing) and/ or based on the fish you hope to catch (such as carp, bream, roaches or barbel).
